Processing Film

I processed 38 4x10 and 1 8x20 sheets of film today. You will learn how to do this. These are for printing in platinum & palladium. You might learn how to do that. Yes I had three JOBO's going all at once. You probably won't learn how to do that.

Studio Lighting Practice

So I went to IKEA the other day and got some 'stuff'. I felt the need to do some practice in the studio. Here it is.

"Genuine" Photography

There are a few who are trying to define it. There are a few who have a problem with their definition.

I want you to read the discussion that is going on in THIS THREAD and comment on your own blog why you agree or disagree (or something else altogether).

You have had enough experience with film *and* digital by now to be able to make up your own minds as to the validity of this thesis statement. I want you to explore the ideas presented by the original poster and also those of follow up commentators.

I want you to start thinking about your photography and about photography in general in a different way. This is an exercise to get your brain in gear.
