So Mr. Patteson told me about John Cage and I had to do a little research. I of course turned to my favorite source for information, Wikipedia. Yes, it's not the greatest, most accurate or foolproof source, but I did glean some interesting information. You can read about Mr. Cage in his page HERE.
In particular I was fascinated by his piece titled 4'33" (Four Minutes, Thirty-Three Seconds). I watched it on YouTube and enjoyed it quite a bit.
I think you will get it when you watch and listen.
